Congratulations to our 2020 Scholarship Recipients! We applaud your hard work and wish you well in your future endeavors.

A Call To Action

Today, Zeta stands with the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Soror Pheonecia Ratliff, and George Floyd and all the other families experiencing similar injustices. We understand the unrest that their deaths have caused and during these times, we must remain diligent in taking care of ourselves, committed to maintaining our communities, and remain steadfast in peacefully protesting to make change in our country. Zeta Phi Beta will continue to answer the call to action during times of adversity. We are committed to engaging and activating to support those who’ve been silenced. Our prayer is that we all remain safe and focused on being the change that our community needs.

NEW MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Requirements for Membership


Although membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is by invitation only, we encourage interested women with a track record of community service and in possession of a baccalaureate degree to contact a chapter in your local area for more information. The required way to show formal interest in membership is attendance at the Informational Interest Meeting hosted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Attendance at the Informational Interest Meeting does not guarantee that an invitation to membership will be extended. We encourage interested women who possess a baccalaureate degree or higher and actively participate in community service to contact us regarding membership.



If you are considering membership, we encourage you to become familiar with Zeta’s Policy Against Hazing. You are never required to participate in hazing activities to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. In fact, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and women who are interested in membership are prohibited from engaging in conduct that violates the Policy Against Hazing.

Women who do not have a college degree, but wish to support Zeta’s community service initiatives may qualify for membership in the Zeta Amicae (uh-MEE-kī) auxiliary group.
